Job summary

Villa Healthcare Westland is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide licensed nursing care to residents under physician orders, adhering to facility standards and regulations.

You will document care, monitor vital signs, administer medications, collaborate with the IDT, and support daily operations on the unit.

Applicants must hold an active LPN license in the state, CPR certification, and prefer 1 year of long-term care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and per regulations.
• Records and reports nursing care and vital signs.
• Maintains clean and sanitary work areas and documents care.
• Supervises CNA services for unit to ensure compliant care.
• Assesses residents and reviews care plans for appropriate care.
• Administers medications and treatments as ordered by physician.
• Documents nursing notes reflecting care and resident response.
• Completes admission, transfer, and discharge forms.
