Villa Healthcare is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Michigan. The LPN carries responsibility for a group of residents during their shift, delivering nursing care under physician orders and facility guidelines.

The role requires strong communication, ability to multitask, infection control adherence, and flexibility for scheduling and occasional overnight travel. Competitive benefits accompany full-time employment.

Competenze

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Provides licensed care to assigned residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with facility, federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Provides and receives nursing reports upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours.
• Ensures assigned work area is maintained in a clean and sanitary manner.
• Directs and supervises CNA services to ensure care is rendered per standards.
• Performs resident assessments and reviews care plans.
• Administers medications and respiratory care as ordered within license limitations.
• Transcribes physician orders to charts and MAR.
• Completes admission, transfer, and discharge forms.
• Ensures safety and addresses hazards.
• Makes reports regarding shift activities.
• Implements resident care plans and suggests changes to IDT.
