Job summary

You will administer medications, monitor residents, and maintain MAR/TAR documentation in real time to safeguard health and comfort. The ideal candidate holds an active LPN license, CPR/First Aid certification, strong assessment skills, and experience with medication administration in a senior care setting.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing is required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards
