Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living Mgmt Inc is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse to deliver safe, accurate care for residents in a senior living setting. You will administer medications per physician orders and follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration, while documenting in MAR/TAR in real time and monitoring residents for changes.

Applicants should hold an active LPN license, CPR/First Aid certification, and demonstrate strong assessment and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly.
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates.
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes.
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards.
