Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse to deliver safe, accurate care in a senior living environment. You will administer medications, document in MAR/TAR, monitor residents, and uphold regulatory standards to protect resident health and safety.

The role requires an Active LPN license, CPR/First Aid, and strong assessment and documentation skills. Prior experience in senior care or medication administration is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs)
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards
