Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse to provide licensed nursing support through safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation. The role involves administering medications per physician orders, following the Six Rights, and maintaining MAR/TAR accuracy.

The position emphasizes resident safety, regulatory adherence, and collaboration with care teams to update care plans and monitor health changes in a senior living setting.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly.
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs).
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates.
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes.
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards.
