Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an LPN Medication Nurse to provide licensed nursing support with safe medication administration, health monitoring and accurate clinical documentation.

You will administer medications, follow procedures, document in MAR/TAR in real time, and monitor residents closely. Previous senior care or medication administration experience is preferred and CPR/First Aid certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR in real time.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly.
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates.
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes.
• Maintain medication carts and complete narcotic counts.
