Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, manage donor reactions, review SPE results, and assist with safety programs under the guidance of the Center Manager and Center Physician.

Ideal candidates hold EMT/LPN/RN credentials, CPR/AED certification, and have clinical experience. The role emphasizes donor safety, regulatory compliance, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; EMT, LPN/LVN, or RN license/certification as applicable.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
• Knowledge of donor screening and safety practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, informed consent, and donor history.
• Identify and respond to donor adverse events and medical emergencies.
• Review laboratory test results and communicate results to donors.
• Support vaccination programs and safety protocols within the center.
