Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Wilton, CT is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) medication nurse to provide licensed nursing support, administer medications per physician orders, monitor residents, and maintain accurate MAR/TAR documentation.

You will follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration, transcribe orders, report changes promptly, and support care plan updates while upholding safety, regulatory compliance, and compassionate resident care.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.

• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly.

• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards.

You play a critical role in preventing medication errors, identifying health changes early, and protecting resident safety through clinical precision and regulatory adherence.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred

Pay Range:

32.00 - 46.15
