Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join our caregiving team. You will administer medications per physician orders and ensure accuracy in MAR/TAR documentation to protect resident safety.

We value clinical precision, regulatory adherence, and compassionate care. The role emphasizes monitoring residents, reporting changes, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support quality of life for seniors in our community.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly.
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs).
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates.
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes.
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Active LPN license in good standing

Pay Range: 32.45 - 43.30
