Job summary

Ascension in Evansville, Indiana, seeks a Dietitian/Nutritionist for its Employer-Based Clinics. You will conduct nutrition assessments and support employees in healthier lifestyle goals within a full-time role at Ascension Medical Group.

You will engage with employer contacts, HR representatives, and wellness committees, helping design and implement nutrition programs, staying updated on research, and driving participation and outcomes across employer groups.

Qualifications

• Dietitian/Nutritionist credentialing required before hire date or transfer date.
• Education: HS equivalency with 2+ years experience or an Associate's/Technical degree or 4 years of related experience.
• Advanced Life Support and BLS are preferred; Diabetes management educator experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition assessments and evaluate individual dietary habits, lifestyle behaviors, and health goals in an employer-based clinic setting.
• Assist individuals in establishing realistic, measurable, and sustainable health goals.
• Participate in employer health fairs, wellness events, biometric screening events, and other employee wellness activities.
• Build positive relationships with employer contacts, human resources representatives, and employee wellness committees.
• Assist in developing and implementing nutrition and lifestyle wellness programming for employer groups.
• Stay current on nutrition research, wellness trends, and evidence-based approaches to behavior change.
• Monitor program participation and identify opportunities to improve employee engagement.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • Dietitian/Nutritionist credentialed from the Commission on Dietetic Registration obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Educator specializing in Diabetes Management.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
