Complete Care at Hillside is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for direct care positions. Full and part-time options are available, with premium pay rates and a $7,500 sign-on bonus.

As an LPN, you will administer medications, provide wound care, and collaborate with healthcare professionals while ensuring quality care. The role demands a licensed professional in Delaware, with responsibilities including patient education and documentation.

Qualifications

• Licensed to work within the State of Delaware as a LPN.
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, and physical evaluation.
• Professional and clinically skilled with leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, topical, IV, and injectable medications.
• Perform wound care and manage pain.
• Observe and track changes in health status.
• Provide catheter and ostomy care.
• Assist in executing individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals on patient care.
• Educate families and residents on health status.
• Document all aspects of patient care and interactions.
• Oversee and delegate tasks to CNAs.

Here’s What You’ll Do for Our Residents:

Administer Medications: Give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications

Wound/Skin Care: Perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings

Monitoring: Observe physical and mental health status- track changes & analyze data

Clinical Procedure: Provide catheter/ostomy care, gather specimens etc.

Care Planning: Assist in executing individualized care

Collaboration: Strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers & others

Family & Resident Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care

Documentation: Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions

Team Oversight: Oversee & delegate CNA's ensuring quality care/teamwork
