Job summary

Creekside Center for Rehabilitation and Healing seeks a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in a skilled nursing facility. The PTA will assist the PT to provide therapies that improve mobility, relieve pain, and promote overall wellness for residents.

Candidates must be licensed in the practicing state, able to evaluate and treat independently, and committed to geriatric care. Work Monday to Friday in a supportive, patient-centered environment; Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in the practicing state
• Ability to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision
• Experience with geriatric population preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent or limit permanent physical disability and promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility.
• Support residents through therapy sessions and document progress as part of a patient-centered care plan.

Looking for a full time talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.
