Job summary

Complete Care at Hyattsville is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (Direct Care) for full-time and part-time options across all shifts. PRN/per diem is not currently accepted.

The LPN will administer medications, perform wound care, monitor residents’ health, provide catheter/ostomy care, assist with care planning, collaborate with physicians and therapists, educate families and residents, document progress, and help supervise CNAs to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of long-term care experience as an LPN.
• Licensed to practice in Maryland as an LPN.
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, references and health evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications: oral, topical, IV and injectable.
• Wound care and prevention; manage pain; apply dressings.
• Monitor residents' health status and analyze data.
• Provide catheter/ostomy care and collect specimens.
• Assist in executing individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers and others.
• Educate families and residents about health status and care expectations.
• Maintain detailed records of health status, care, progress and interactions.
• Oversee and delegate CNAs to ensure quality care and teamwork.

Here’s What You’ll Do for Our Residents:
