Job summary

Complete Care at Hagerstown is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (Direct Care) for full- and part-time shifts. A $12,000 sign-on bonus is available for FT 3rd shift, withWeekend Warrior options and daily pay if desired.

The LPN will administer medications, perform wound care, monitor residents, and collaborate with a care team. We offer strong growth opportunities and attractive benefits to support your professional success.

Qualifications

• Licensed to work within the State of Maryland as a LPN.
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, and references.
• Professional and clinically skilled with leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications including oral, topical, IV, and injectable forms.
• Perform wound care, manage pain and apply dressings.
• Monitor health status, track changes and analyze data.
• Provide catheter/ostomy care and gather specimens.
• Assist in executing individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and social workers.
• Educate residents and families about health status and care expectations.
• Document health status and care progress accurately.
• Oversee and delegate duties to CNAs to ensure quality care.

Here’s What You’ll Do for Our Residents:

Administer Medications: Give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications

Wound/Skin Care: Perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings

Monitoring: Observe physical and mental health status- track changes & analyze data

Clinical Procedure: Provide catheter/ostomy care, gather specimens etc.

Care Planning: Assist in executing individualized care

Collaboration: Strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers & others

Family & Resident Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care

Documentation: Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions

Team Oversight: Oversee & delegate CNA’s ensuring quality care/teamwork
