Complete Care - MidAtlantic is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Hyattsville, Maryland, to provide skilled nursing care for residents. Responsibilities include medication administration, wound care, and monitoring health status. About the Role

We provide skilled nursing care to people recently discharged from the hospital, needing therapy, and those needing long-term care.

What You’ll Do for Our Residents

• Administer medications: give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications.
• Wound/Skin Care: perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings.
• Monitoring: observe physical and mental health status, track changes and analyze data.
• Clinical Procedure: provide catheter/ostomy care, gather specimens.
• Care Planning: assist in executing individualized care plans.
• Collaboration: strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers & others.
• Family & Resident Education: explain health status, changes and expectations for care.
• Documentation: keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions.
• Team Oversight: oversee & delegate CNAs ensuring quality care & teamwork.

Qualifications

• Licensed to work within the state of Maryland as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse).
• Must pass background check, drug screen, professional references check & physical evaluation.
• Professional & clinically skilled with leadership qualities.
• 1+ year of long-term care experience as an LPN required.
