Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is urgently hiring LPNs/RNs to provide homecare to adult patients in the Newark/Hebron area. Visit visits typically last 35 minutes to 1 hour and may include med pass, insulin care, and wound care. RNs are also eligible at $30 per visit.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license for the practicing state.
• Current Health Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in home settings.
• Initiates the plan of care and revises as patient needs change.
• Incorporates therapeutic and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Intervenes for changes in patient condition and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and documents effectiveness.
• Reviews plan of care and coordinates education, care, and discharge planning as applicable.

Salary: $25 / per visit

Maxim Healthcare in Hebron is URGENTLY hiring for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to work with adult patients in the homecare setting. This is a Visit Nurse Position, which includes quick 35 minute - 1 hour visits in the patient's home. Visits can include med pass, insulin assistance, wound care, etc. RNs would also be considered for this role ($30 / visit). We are looking to fill this position ASAP!

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) or LIcensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
