Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring Registered Nurses (RN) to perform home visits in the Hebron area, delivering skilled nursing services in patients' homes. The role centers on evening and weekend availability with 35 minute to 1 hour visits, supporting med passes, insulin, wound care and related tasks.

Two tier structures offer consistent scheduling with minimum visit expectations per week, and compensation discussed individually. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) and PTO.

• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, and documents effectiveness.
• Reviews plan of care and identifies education, care coordination, and discharge planning needs.

Pay: $30 - $33 / per visit

Maxim Healthcare in Hebron is hiring for Registered Nurses (RN) to work with patients in the homecare setting for a Visit Nurse Position, which includes quick 35 minute - 1 hour visits in the patient's home. Visits can include med pass, insulin assistance, wound care, etc. We are looking for primarily EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS!

Intermittent Nursing Team Tier 1

This nursing team will enjoy consistent weekly scheduling centered around an expected number of visits/days per week.

Expectations

• Be available 4 days per wk.
• Be available E/O weekend or one weekend day per week
• Complete a minimum of 32 visits per wk.
• Compensation discussed on an individual basis.

Intermittent Nursing Team Tier 2

This nursing team will enjoy consistent weekly scheduling centered around an expected number of visits/days per week.

Expectations

• Be available 3 days per wk.
• Be available E/O weekend or one weekend day per wk.
• Complete a minimum of 24 visits per wk.
• Compensation discussed on an individual basis.

There is also a casual/ PRN option with no set availability expectations!

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
