Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver comprehensive home-based patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will follow nursing standards and actively contribute to patient care management.

Responsibilities include assessing needs, planning and evaluating care, conducting focused interviews, monitoring condition changes, and documenting nursing diagnoses while performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate (facility requirement).
• Current PPD or Chest X‑Ray clearance.
• Current BLS card.
• One year LPN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Performs focused interview to identify specific patient needs.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data from health care members and documents nursing diagnoses.
• Other Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) duties as assigned.

Salary: $25 - $30 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in home, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will consistently perform according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
