Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Colorado Springs is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to perform intermittent, hour-long home visits for pediatric and/or adult patients. Responsibilities include performing skilled nursing tasks such as diabetic management, wound care, and medication administration.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
• TB test or chest X-ray current.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing services on each assignment per prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes.
• Document nursing diagnoses and interpret health data accurately.

Maxim Healthcare in Colorado Springs is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes completing Intermittent hour-long skilled nursing visits for skills such as diabetic management, wound care, medication management, catheter change, etc.

• $35 / per visit (LPN)

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
