Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is urgently hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and accepting RNs for homecare visits in Hebron. This visit-based nursing role includes quick 35 minute to 1 hour home visits, with duties ranging from med administration to insulin assistance and wound care.

RN candidates may be considered at $30 per visit, with LPN at $25 per visit. We offer competitive pay, weekly paychecks, paid training, flexible PT/FT scheduling, and college partnership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licenced Practical Nurse (LPN) license for the practicing state.
• Current Health Certificate as required by facility RN contract or state regulation.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in home visits.
• Initiates the plan of care and updates it as patient needs change.
• Provides therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and goals.
• Intervenes and reports changes in patient condition to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and documents effectiveness.
• Reviews plan of care and coordinates education, care, and discharge planning as applicable.

Maxim Healthcare in Hebron is URGENTLY hiring for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to work with adult patients in the homecare setting. This is a Visit Nurse Position, which includes quick 35 minute - 1 hour visits in the patient's home. Visits can include med pass, insulin assistance, wound care, etc.

RNs would also be considered for this role ($30 / visit).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licenced Practical Nurse (LPN) for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
