Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Pueblo, Colorado is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for pediatric and/or adult patients in their own homes. The role emphasizes applying the nursing process and delivering skilled care on each assignment.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN/LVN in the state where the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Education
