Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Colorado Springs is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with pediatric and/or adult patients in their own homes. LPN Day: $25-$28/hour; LPN Night: $26-$29/hour. Shift differentials apply.

The role offers competitive pay, weekly paychecks and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, and delivering skilled services per orders while monitoring patient status and documenting findings.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN/LVN in the state where the LPN will practice.
• Current TB test or Chest X-Ray on file.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
