Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in patients' homes in Charlotte, NC. The role covers adult and pediatric patients with a variety of acuity levels, and offers flexible schedules with competitive hourly pay.

The ideal candidate is currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state, has BLS, and relevant nursing experience. Travel to patient homes is required; benefits include health/dental/vision coverage and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
