Job summary

The Aperion Care facility seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants in a compliant, caring environment. You will administer medications, document care, and coordinate with physicians to ensure safety and quality of care.

Ideal candidates hold a current LPN license, CPR/First Aid, and are skilled in communication, organization, and handling multiple priorities. Part-time positions are available without benefits.

Qualifications

• LPN with current unencumbered state license.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and regulations for long-term care facilities.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• Written and verbal communication skills essential.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized.
• Willing to take additional training as states may require.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians and document accordingly.
• Coordinate with physicians and other staff to ensure safety and quality of care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Develop rounds with physicians and report changes in residents’ conditions.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
