Job summary

Aperion Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver high-quality resident care and supervise nursing assistants. You will administer medications, coordinate with physicians, and maintain documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to adapt to changing resident needs. Part‑time options are available without benefits in some shifts.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with a current unencumbered state license.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, laws and guidelines for care facilities.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Complete required documentation and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Coordinate with physicians and other staff to meet resident care needs.
• Perform professional nursing services such as catheterization, wound care and IV care.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and team members.
• Be adaptable and participate in additional duties within scope.
