Job summary

Wheeling Comprehensive Treatment Center in Triadelphia, WV seeks a compassionate LPN/LVN Dispensing Nurse for our outpatient MAT OTP program on a per diem basis. Shifts are mornings 4:30 AM to 1 PM, Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays; duties include dispensing medications, patient assessment, vital signs, and documentation.

You will work under supervision, maintain medication inventory, and support the clinical team to ensure safe, effective treatment in a recovery-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (LPN/LVN).
• Prefer 1 year of nursing experience in behavioral health, outpatient treatment program, or addiction recovery field.
• Ability to operate, monitor, and maintain medical equipment safely and effectively.
• Skilled in drawing blood and collecting specimens for laboratory testing.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and administer medications as ordered.
• Monitor vital signs and document care.
• Educate patients and families; collaborate with the clinical team.
• Ensure accurate reporting and documentation in patient records.
• Maintain inventory and safekeeping of medication stock per DEA/FDA.
