Job summary

Beckley Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) in Beaver, WV, part of Acadia Healthcare's Comprehensive Treatment Centers, is seeking a Per diem LPN Dispensing Nurse for an outpatient MAT OTP setting. You will assess patients, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and educate patients and families within a compliant team.

Daily duties include documentation, medication inventory control, and collaboration with clinicians to ensure safe, effective treatment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with LPN/LVN license.
• Minimum one year in behavioral health, outpatient, or addiction recovery preferred.
• Experience in outpatient MAT or medication dispensing preferred.
• Ability to operate medical equipment safely and effectively.
• Blood draws and specimen collection proficiency.
• Proficient with EMR and clinic software; accurate documentation.
• Assess patient histories, symptoms, and overall condition.
• Monitor vitals and administer medications per physician orders.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of Nursing Supervisor, Medical Director, and Clinic Director.
• Prepare and administer medications accurately and promptly.
• Document medication administration and patient care promptly.
• Maintain secure inventory and records per DEA and regulatory rules.
• Track medications received and dispensed to patients.
• Dedicates approx. 90% of time to med administration; rest to other duties.
• Conduct urine and/or blood tests, read results, assist in monitoring outcomes.
• Complete documentation per clinic standards; may transport meds as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by clinic leadership.
