Job summary

Concord Comprehensive Treatment Center is seeking a Dispensing Nurse (LPN/LVN) for full-time hours in an outpatient MAT OTP setting. You will assess patients, administer medications, monitor vital signs, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure safe and effective treatment.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, medication inventory control, urine/blood testing, and adherence to DEA/FDA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (LPN/LVN).
• Prefer 1 year of nursing experience in behavioral health or addiction recovery.
• Experience in outpatient treatment programs preferred.
• Ability to operate medical equipment safely and effectively.
• Skilled in drawing blood and collecting specimens for testing.
• Proficient in EMR systems and related clinical software.
• Competent in patient assessment, including evaluating medical histories, symptoms, and overall condition.
• Ability to monitor and record vital signs accurately.
• Ability to administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of the Nursing Supervisor, Medical Director, and Clinic Director while maintaining professional standards of care.
• Prepare and administer medication as ordered, accurately and timely.
• Document medication administration and nursing care in patient records promptly and accurately.
• Ensure safekeeping and accurate inventory of all medication stock and records per regulatory guidance.
• Maintain precise accounting of all medication received and dispensed to patients.
• Dedicate approximately 90% of work hours to medication administration activities; remaining time to other duties as assigned.
• Conduct and process urine and/or blood samples, read results, complete intake assessments, and monitor patient outcomes.
• Complete all documentation with these procedures accurately and in compliance with clinic standards.
• May be required to transport medication to other locations or work on a CTC Mobile Unit.
