Job summary

Wheeling Comprehensive Treatment Center in Triadelphia, WV, part of Acadia Healthcare's OTP network, is seeking a Per Diem LPN/LVN Dispensing Nurse for our outpatient opioid treatment program. You will provide compassionate nursing care, dispense medications, and participate in patient education and documentation.

The role emphasizes mornings/days with occasional Saturdays, with training provided and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with LPN/LVN license.
• Prefer 1 year of nursing experience in behavioral health or outpatient treatment.
• Experience in MAT settings and medication dispensing preferred.
• Proficient in EMR systems and clinical software.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance for controlled substances.
• Strong assessment, vitals, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and administer medications as ordered.
• Document nursing care promptly in patient records.
• Monitor vital signs and treatment responses.
• Maintain inventory of medication stock per DEA/FDA rules.
• Collaborate with clinical team and supervisors.
• May transport meds to other locations or mobile unit.
