Bethesda Health in Missouri is seeking an LPN to provide basic nursing care and ongoing assessments. You will communicate with the IDT and families, update care plans, and ensure safe administration of medications and treatments.

The role emphasizes timely documentation and adherence to Bethesda's policies. Qualified candidates will have an active MO LPN license, CPR/AED and IV certification within six months if not already held.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPN license in Missouri.
• CPR and AED certification required, or willing to obtain within six months.
• IV certification required, or willing to obtain within six months.
• Ability to assess basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents.
• Excellent communication with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and assist in resident assessments at admission and ongoing.
• Communicate changes to the IDT and update the care plan as needed.
• Document assessments accurately and timely; follow nursing orders and physician orders.
• Administer medications and treatments safely; monitor and respond to changes.
• Use SBARR for timely physician notifications; participate in QAPI for problem resolution.
• Assist residents with ADLs and respond to call lights as needed.
