Bethesda Health in Missouri seeks an experienced LPN to provide essential nursing care, perform assessments, and support the care plan for residents. You will document changes, communicate with the IDT and families, and ensure medications and treatments are administered safely.

The role requires an active LPN license, CPR/AED and IV certifications (or willingness to obtain within six months). Strong communication and physical stamina are essential for this demanding environment.

Qualifications

• LPN license in the state of employment.
• CPR and AED certification required, or willing to obtain within six months.
• IV certification required, or willing to obtain within six months.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Excellent communication with residents, visitors and staff.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods and perform documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and assist in resident assessments on admission and ongoing.
• Document assessments accurately and communicate changes to IDT and families.
• Participate in care planning and update plans as interventions change.
• Administer medications and treatments safely, with IV fluids if IV certified.
• Notify physician using SBARR and maintain composure in crises.
• Support timely completion of required continuing education.
