Job summary

Bethesda Health in Missouri seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide basic nursing care, perform admissions and ongoing assessments, and collaborate with the IDT. You will document care, communicate changes, and contribute to care planning.

Responsibilities include medication administration, IV therapy if certified, SBARR-based physician communication, and supporting residents with ADLs. Regular status and change management will be essential.

Qualifications

• Education from an accredited nursing program resulting in LPN licensure.
• IV certification required or obtainable within six months of employment.
• Current CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain within six months of employment.
• Experience in long-term care/rehab/assisted living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and conduct assessments on admission and ongoing.
• Communicate changes in condition to the IDT and residents/families.
• Administer medications and treatments in a safe, timely manner.
• Document nursing interventions accurately and timely; update care plans as needed.
• UseSBARR to notify physicians and coordinate with the care team.
• Assist residents with ADLs and maintain professional bedside manner.
