Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care in a 40-hour work week at our De Smet, SD facility. This role requires administering medications, assessments, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure resident safety and comfort.

Qualifications include an accredited LPN program completion and an active LPN license; an associate degree is preferred. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board.
• IV therapy/management skills may be required in North Dakota.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to residents in long-term care.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, meds, behavior, activity and diet.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to support resident well-being.
