Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society in De Smet, SD is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care in a long-term care setting. You will work under supervision with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality resident care and safety.

You will administer medications, participate in care planning, document interactions, and support residents and families with education and empathy. A current LPN license is required, with opportunities for CEU training.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program with LPN licensure.
• Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
• Current, unencumbered LPN license in state board required.
• Ability to obtain additional competencies and CEU training.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care under supervision in long-term care.
• Administer medications and treatments per care plans.
• Document resident care and communicate with interdisciplinary team.
• Support resident comfort, safety, and education.
