Job summary

Good Samaritan Society is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time, day shift in De Smet, SD. The role provides nursing care under supervision, administers medications, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to ensure resident well-being.

Qualifications include an accredited LPN program and current LPN licensure. Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus; comprehensive benefits are offered for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN. An associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license with state nursing board and/or multi-state licensure privileges.
• Attended a pre-licensure program with supervised clinical experience across the lifespan or had at least 400 hours of LPN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care under supervision in long-term care.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered and document outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate clearly with residents, families, and the care team.
