Job summary

Bethesda Health Group in Arkansas is seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide basic nursing care for residents. You’ll assess residents on admission and throughout care, document findings, participate in care planning, and communicate with the IDT and families to ensure safe, timely interventions.

Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments as ordered, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to a supportive, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure required in state of employment.
• CPR and AED certification required or willing to obtain within six months.
• IV certification required or willing to obtain within six months.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Ability to assess basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and assist in resident assessment.
• Document assessments accurately and timely.
• Participate in care planning with the IDT and families.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and ensure safe delivery.
• Communicate care plan changes to residents, families, and IDT members.
• Maintain compliance with Bethesda's policies and SBARR communication.
• Complete continuing education related to nursing.
