Job summary

Strayer University Adjunct Faculty seeks experienced clinical instructors to supervise pre-licensure LPN students at hospital sites. The role combines on-site clinical supervision with online instruction and evaluation of student performance.

Responsibilities include orienting students, ensuring safe practice, and collaborating with program leadership to maintain high-quality learning experiences across clinical sites. Travel may be required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited institution.
• Current RN license in the United States.
• Minimum two years of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Experience teaching or supervising pre-licensure nursing students.
• Experience with online or hybrid nursing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site clinical supervision of pre-licensure LPN students at hospital sites.
• Ensure safe, evidence-based nursing practice aligned with course objectives.
• Orient students to site policies, procedures and expectations.
• Supervise and evaluate students' clinical skills and patient care.
• Intervene to ensure patient safety and learning.
• Collaborate with Clinical Coordinator and Program Director for consistency and compliance.
