Peregrine Senior Living is seeking an energetic and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time evening shift in the greater Albany, NY region. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, monitoring medications, and ensuring compliance with residents' rights.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current license in good standing.
• Minimum of one year of experience serving a senior population.
• Compassion for and desire to work with elderly, required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, linens, positioning, transfers, mobility, incontinence care).
• Monitor and report resident changes in condition per rules and PSL policies.
• Dispense medication in accordance with physician orders and MAR.
• Monitor medication programs and adherence.

Salary: $23.50 - $28.50 per hour, based on experience.

Shift differential also available for Evenings, Nights, and Weekend Shifts

We are currently seeking an energetic and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities include:

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights.
• Assist resident with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care as needed.
• Assist in monitoring medication programs.
• Dispenses medication in accordance with physician orders and as stated on the Medication Administration Record for all residents.
• Monitor and report any resident changes in condition in accordance with rules and regulations and PSL policies.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Education & Experience:

• Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse with a current license in good standing.
• Minimum of one year of experience working as a nurse serving a senior population
• Compassion for and desire to work with elderly, required.
