Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living in New York is seeking an energetic Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver compassionate resident care on a part-time schedule (3pm–11pm).

Responsibilities include helping with daily living activities, monitoring medications, and ensuring compliance with residents’ rights and PSL policies, while contributing to a supportive memory-care environment for seniors.

Qualifications

• Licensed Vocational Nurse/LPN with a current license in good standing.
• Minimum of one year of experience serving a senior population.
• Compassion for and desire to work with elderly, required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights.
• Assist resident with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care as needed.
• Assist in monitoring medication programs.
• Dispenses medication in accordance with physician orders and as stated on the Medication Administration Record for all residents.
• Monitor and report any resident changes in condition in accordance with rules and regulations and PSL policies.

Education

Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing

Shift differential also available for Evenings, Nights, and Weekend Shifts
