Peregrine Senior Living in Colonie, NY is seeking a kind, dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time day shift (7:00am-3:00pm) with rotating weekends. Salary ranges from $25.50 to $28.50 per hour, based on experience, with weekend shift differential.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, monitoring medications, and ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering compassionate, elder‑focused care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current license in good standing.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience serving a senior population.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Monitor medication programs and dispense as ordered per MAR.
• Ensure compliance with residents' rights and regulatory requirements.
• Report changes in residents' condition promptly.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities include:

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights.

• Assist resident with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care as needed.

• Assist in monitoring medication programs.

• Dispenses medication in accordance with physician orders and as stated on the Medication Administration Record for all residents.

• Monitor and report any resident changes in condition

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Education & Experience:

• Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse with a current license in good standing, required.

• Minimum of one year of experience working as a nurse serving a senior population required.

• Compassion for and desire to work with elderly required.
