Job summary

IMEG Corporation seeks an experienced Low-Voltage Systems Engineer to join our technology team in the Midwest. You will assist in designing IT cabling, AV, security, and other low-voltage building systems for education and institutional projects, with travel up to 50% and hybrid/remote options.

You will analyze designs, use engineering software, communicate with clients, support project planning, and contribute to IMEG quality and innovation programs.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience, 4 preferred in building design consulting or construction
• Associates degree or BIM/Engineering certificate preferred
• Travel up to 50% (local, domestic, and international) for business
• Familiarity with BIM software and standard engineering tools

Responsibilities

• Assist design and analysis of IT structured cabling, AV, security, and other low-voltage building systems
• Use engineering software to create detailed designs, specs, and calculations per code and IMEG standards
• Interact with clients to gather requirements and communicate technical information
• Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication
• Support project execution and planning to meet deadlines and objectives
• Assist with documenting design decisions and project progress while monitoring progress
• Analyze low to medium complexity tasks and propose practical solutions with senior engineers
• Ensure designs meet IMEG quality standards and industry regulations
