Job summary

IMEG Corp seeks a Technology Project Designer to lead IT low-voltage system designs in Chicago, IL - Naperville Office, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. You will analyze IT cabling, A/V, security and related systems, producing detailed designs and specifications in line with IMEG standards and client needs.

Role emphasizes mentoring junior staff, managing project planning and budgets, and delivering solutions with strong client communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT and low-voltage systems design for buildings.
• Ability to lead design analyses and mentor junior staff.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for IT cabling, A/V, security and low-voltage systems.
• Create designs, specifications, calculations per IMEG standards.
• Interact with clients and maintain relationships through clear communication.
• Lead budgeting, scheduling, and project planning to meet deadlines.
• Provide in-process design reviews and ensure quality control.
