IMEG Corporation is seeking a Technology Project Designer in the Chicago, IL area to lead design for low-voltage technology systems across healthcare and mission-critical settings. You will supervise IT cabling, security, and A/V, while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BS/associates options with required experience as described.
• Experience in building design consulting or construction industry.
• Ability to train and mentor staff and interface with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for IT structured cabling, A/V, security, and low-voltage systems.
• Create designs, specs, calculations per code to IMEG standards.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements and maintain relationships.
• Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling to meet deadlines.
• Perform in-process design reviews and ensure quality control.
