Job summary

ADT is seeking a field technician to install and service low-voltage security systems in customer homes and businesses across California. You will install wiring, test systems, and ensure reliable operation while delivering professional customer service.

You will work evenings and weekends as needed, communicate clearly with customers, maintain safety, and uphold ADT's commitment to protecting lives and property with quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency with computer hardware, software, and network diagnostics.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to safely operate a company fleet vehicle.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and customer-first communication style.
• Self-directed with solid time management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install low-voltage wiring and mount devices per layouts.
• Perform site assessments and system testing.
• Troubleshoot issues and flag defective materials.
• Educate customers on system features and basic troubleshooting.
