Job summary

ADT Security Services is seeking a field technician to install and support low‑voltage systems in homes and businesses. You will install wiring, test and configure for reliability, and educate customers on system features to ensure optimal operation.

The role requires a tech‑savvy, detail‑oriented professional with a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and strong troubleshooting and communication skills. Evening/weekend work and travel with a company vehicle may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (additional licensing may be required by location).
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency with computer hardware, software, and network diagnostics.
• Ability to safely operate a company fleet vehicle.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and customer‑first communication style.
• Self‑directed with solid time management in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install low‑voltage wiring and mount devices according to site layouts and routing plans.
• Perform site assessments, system testing, and verify connections including monitoring center communication.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and flag defective materials or job inaccuracies that affect service quality.
• Educate customers on system features, usage, and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow all safety protocols.
