Job summary

ADT is seeking a Field Operations Technician to install and service smart security solutions in homes and small businesses. You will handle low-voltage wiring, perform site assessments, test systems, and ensure reliable operation while educating customers on features and basic troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency with computer hardware, software and network diagnostics.
• Ability to safely operate a company fleet vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Install low-voltage wiring and mount devices according to site layouts and routing plans.
• Perform site assessments, system testing and verify connections.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and flag defective materials or job inaccuracies.
• Educate customers on system features, usage and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow safety protocols.
