Job summary

Rex Moore is seeking a Systems Technician in Sacramento responsible for installing and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with national, state, and local codes. The role emphasizes low voltage systems and coordination with project teams on site.

Qualifications

• Holds current Fire Life Safety card.
• Holds current ACE card.
• Demonstrates proficiency in fire alarm, security, access control and surveillance products and services.
• Excellent communication with managers, foremen, general contractors and customers.
• Shows initiative and keeps organized throughout the work day.

Responsibilities

• Program, commission and start-up of Low Voltage systems including Fire Alarm, Security, Access Control and Surveillance.
• Installation and testing of low voltage devices, wiring and rough-in.
• Supervises and trains helpers, installers, telecom techs or electricians on safety and technical principles.
• Provides input on employee evaluations and completes paperwork accurately and timely.
• Collaborates with Fire Marshal on project final inspections and regular jobsite inspections.
