Job summary

Rex Moore in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Systems Technician to install and repair electrical systems in commercial environments. You will program, commission and start-up low voltage systems such as fire alarm, security and access control while ensuring code compliance.

Qualifications

Current Fire Life Safety card is required.
Holds ACE card or equivalent.
Proficient with fire alarm, security, access control and surveillance systems.
Good communication with managers, foremen and customers.
Strong initiative and organization.

Responsibilities

Program, commission and start-up of low voltage systems.
Install and test low voltage devices, wiring and rough-in.
Supervises and trains helpers and electricians.
Provides safety training and ensures proper tool use.
Completes paperwork accurately and on time.
Coordinates inspections with Customer and Field Service Manager.
Troubleshoot installation and programming issues.
