Job summary

Rex Moore Electrical & Systems Contractors & Engineers is seeking a Systems Technician to install and repair low voltage electrical systems in commercial environments. The role emphasizes adherence to national and local codes, with responsibilities spanning programming, testing, and on-site supervision.

Ideal candidates will have Fire Life Safety and ACE/NICET certifications, plus hands-on experience with fire alarm, security, access control, and surveillance products.

Qualifications

• Knows how to program, commission and start-up low voltage systems (fire alarm, security, access control, surveillance).
• Ability to install and test low voltage devices, wiring and rough-in.
• Able to supervise and train installers and helpers; ensure safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Program, commission and start-up of Low Voltage systems including Fire Alarm, Security, Access Control and Surveillance.
• Installation and testing of low voltage devices, wiring and rough-in.
• Supervises, directs, monitors and trains helpers and electricians.
• Attends foreman meetings and maintains accurate paperwork.
• Coordinates inspections with Customer and Field Service Manager.
